The Back Story
Working with our volunteer network to create and distribute homemade non-medical masks to charitable organizations has been an honour, and the entire King & Bay team has been humbled by the response on both sides, from our numerous sewing volunteers and the growing list of organizations seeking to protect their members, clients and staff.
Realizing the new paradigm the world has entered, and the reality that we will all continue to be ‘in this together’ for the foreseeable future, our company has formalized our dedication to public health by launching our own in-house mass production of these masks. The final step is a new ‘Buy-One-Give-One’ option for our partner organizations.
This model, where 1 purchase funds 2 masks, inspired the name of our new initiative, the banner to unite our efforts under: Mission2Mask.
The Mission2Mask initiative gives companies in need of masks the ability to promptly fulfill their needs through the purchase of our in-house line, the proceeds of which provide for an additional equal number of masks which will be donated to our charitable organization partners that are in greatest need.
This method allows us streamlined, consistent and quality-controlled production of masks, as well as funding the supply of additional raw materials for our dedicated volunteer team. All of us working together in this way can make a greater difference in our workplaces, our communities and across Canada.
As your business looks to move forward during continued COVID-19 uncertainty, we're pleased to offer you the option to protect your staff, clients, and also other members of the public they may cross paths with in the weeks and months ahead.
Our Made-In-Canada masks are high quality, 100% cotton, washable and resusable, with added features like filter pockets and moldable nose-pieces for a close fit.
