Local businessman answers the challenge with a significant donation for the creation of personal use face masks, helping to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
One man responds to a call...
Wasim Jarrah, CEO at Concierge Real Estate by Wasim and MJ in Newmarket, Ontario has made a donation of 100 shirts to King & Bay's #SOYBFaceMaskChallenge.
In addition to donating a significant number of shirts from his own closet, Wasim tapped into his wide network of connections to make them aware of the King & Bay initiative to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
And he relays the message to others.

When my friends at King & Bay announced this great initiative, I knew I had to get involved. So, I got on the phone and made some calls. I wanted to do my part in helping to flatten this curve.
What happened next was extraordinary
In the spirit of each of us doing what we can, Wasim involved his daughter Lulu, asking her to help make a video to post on his social media channels.
Several of Wasim's personal friends and business associates stepped up immediately to contribute to the #SOYBFaceMaskChallenge Shirt Drive.
Wasim dropped off over 100 shirts to the King & Bay team who will be distributing them to local sewing groups.
"A 100 shirt donation gives us the materials to make 500 personal use face masks, which is a significant contribution to the organizations we support," says Hozefa Hararwala, Master Clothier at King & Bay.
"Each of us can play a role in the health of our communities," said Wasim. "The King & Bay #SOYBFaceMaskChallenge provides an easy and effective way for me and my network to make a difference."
